I haven’t done a drawing in a wee while and wanted to squeeze one in today. So this is a quick black and white sketch in pen on cartridge paper. I felt a little rusty in all honesty. The subject is a Primula in a tea-cup, a present from my mum. I’m hoping to find the time to do a watercolour study of this plant in the coming days.
For readers in the Wirral area, I have today delivered some new limited edition prints to the Williamson Art Gallery (visit the Williamson’s Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/williamsonartgallery). They are giclee prints featuring some of my landscape paintings of Wirral.
Congrats! Your drawings and paintings are very beautiful and expressive! 🙂
