Drawing of Helford River by Simon Birtall

This is another drawing from my trip to Cornwall last month. It’s a sketch in pen on paper. Depicted is the coastline of the Helford River, as seen from the beach at Trebah Garden. The view looks down river, towards Mawnan.

I’m spending much of this week preparing for the Wirral Open Studio Tour event, which will be taking place this weekend (15th and 16th June 2013). I’ll be exhibiting my work in Hoylake and will be in attendance for the duration of the event. More info on the event can be found on the Wirral Art umbrella* website www.wirralart.com.

* That’s a figurative umbrella rather than an actual umbrella.
